A College or university of Arts and Sciences graduate college student has been chosen for a 2020-2021 fellowship with the Society for General public Wellbeing Schooling.
Photo credit score: Karan PatelGrace Albright, a University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Arts and Sciences graduate scholar, has acquired a fellowship in damage avoidance with the Society for Public Well being Education and learning and Centers for Sickness Command and Prevention.
The fellowship is made to support the education of a new generation of community wellness researchers and practitioners who perform in behavioral sciences.
Albright is a graduate college student in the Developmental Psychology Plan and conducts investigation in the UAB Translational Research for Personal injury Avoidance Lab less than her mentor, Despina Stavrinos, Ph.D.
“This fellowship offers me the opportunity to go after investigation with implications for teenager driver safety in a new age of engineering,” Albright explained. “I am energized to take a look at how teens are taught to interact with highly developed driver techniques they may well not be acquainted with and how these systems may well completely transform the understanding-to-drive method for both of those teens and their most important on-highway instructors — their moms and dads.”
Albright commenced her fellowship Sept. 1, and it will conclude July 31, 2021.
